We focus on 100% Texas Longhorn beef.

While other breeds and Longhorn cross breeds that are grass fed are healthy and tender,
they have more (marbling) fat than 100% Texas Longhorn. Longhorn contains 10% less saturated fat than
other breeds of cattle. Texas Longhorn, also, has less calories and more protein than other cattle breeds.

We are giving up some tenderness to heart-healthiness. The flavor of our beef is outstanding.

"Vicki's Delicious Longhorn Tenderloins" are melt in your mouth tender and delicious.

"A.J. Pendleton's Texas Longhorn Burgers", "Pendleton 100% Texas Longhorn Ground Beef" and "Nick's
Famous Chili Grind" are high protein and as lean as chicken breast.

Here at the ranch,we charcoal grill the "Luke's Fine Chuck Roasts" . Luke's Chuck Roasts have some fat like
other breed's sirloins. "Luke's Hearty Longhorn Arm and Shoulder Roasts" are very lean and best slow cooked
in the crock pot or dutch oven.

"Haze Pendleton's Texas Longhorn Jalapeno Sausage" is just as heart-healthy since we do not add pork fat.

Whole Steer Order
We have customers that prefer whole steer orders. Gather up some friends.
We sell a whole steer for $1.75/lb. hoof weight. This price includes:

Standard Processing
Individual Cut Vacuum Packaging (1-3 Lb. packages)
Freezing
Cardboard Carton (50 lb. of Individual Vacuum Packages)
No Shipping Included

Our average steer weighs Approx. 750# on the hoof. (750 lbs x $1.75/lb. = $1312.50)
You specify the cutting instructions to the butcher. (Filets, Steaks, Roasts, etc.)

Premium processing includes patties, sausage, jerky, etc. email for quote. Exact prices are
tallied after actual order is completed.

A 50% deposit ($650.) is required, balance due on pickup or shipment at/from Pendleton
Ranch, Gainesville, TX.

Please note: Hoof weight is not the same as the weight of your processed, frozen packages.
A rule of thumb is hoof = double the carcass weight. Then, bone loss is about 30%.
